Battery Replacement

If you're not comfortable replacing batteries then by all means have the replacement done by a qualified service center. If on the other hand you are a do it yourself kind of person, want to save money, or don't have a local service center available to you then read on...

All of the M/T-Series synths have an internal battery that eventually wears out. When this happens the synth loses all of it's patches (INIT PROG) and is unable to "remember" any patch data loaded into it while in this state.

To fix this the synth has to be opened up and the battery has to be replaced. The sounds also have to be reloaded and certain settings have to be reset. Great care has to be taken while doing this because the synth can be damaged in the process.

So in an effort to help all of you out there who need to replace your synth's internal battery we've put together several Step By Step Battery Replacement Guides with photos to help you thru the process...
