Compare the edges of the above
shadows.
iShadow™
has an additional mode called oShadow™
which stands for "Old-Time
Shadow". In the old days, before the advent
of filters and fx, graphic artists made shadows
by copying the object, filling the copy black,
and then blurring or feathering the edges. This
old-time way of making shadows tends to give
smoother, softer edges then Photo-Paint's built
in shadows. In fact you may have already found
yourself resorting to blurring Paint's shadows to
achieve a more natural look. Try oShadow™.
